We use it where it really helps and leave the rest to people, because some things are irreplaceable in real life. rhei takes care of the paperwork, so there is more time on set, whether you shoot on 35 mm or on a phone.

We don't think the two exclude each other. rhei is made for both: the arthouse debut and the series, the documentary and the commercial, the festival film and the one that fills cinemas.
For the independents
Built for small companies first.
One-person companies and small independent producers carry the same paperwork as the big studios, with a fraction of the staff. rhei is priced so they can afford it (19 € a month), and it grows with them. Larger companies are just as welcome.
